25 year old Pierre Njanka is the latest in a long line of trialists that have had permanent moves to the Reebok touted, yet as this time the word is coming from Sam Allardyce it looks more promising. Then again isnt this always the case, no doubt theres some appearances clause or something (like with the sales of Tommo,Todd and Gunnlaugsson to name but a few), and thats why they claim its more, but a little note to the directors, count it as part of the fee when its been recieved not before (I mean how many more appearances does Arnie need to make for Leicester before we get the extra cash and theres still no sign of that England cap for Tommo!!). Anyway make your own mind up. Hendry confusion. Both Bolton and Coventry have denied any contact has been made between the two regarding erstwhile Scotland defender Colin Hendry, they'd better be soon as we need a decent centre half to replace Feesh. 7/11/2000 Lazy bastard finally updates! Yes, after nearly seven weeks or so of inactivity I've finally decided to pull my finger out, will try to keep everything current from now on.... Fish sold to Addicks. Yes, the South African's long muted move to Charlton Athletic has finally happened, according to early editions of a couple of the tabloids. The price will be 700k, fair enough as he could have gone on a free at the end of the season and his recent performances have been poor. Who'll be his replacement though?, with his record Paul Warhurst just cannot be relied upon to stay injury free and even if Colin Hendry signs, he can't be match fit having missed so much first team action.September News.
