Minter!!!

Top result, that man Ricketts again, and to think when he first signed, some people compared him to Slack Alice, could't hit a cows arse with a banjo - Nathan Blake (whatever happened to him?), nah this geezer makes every chance pay....the natural successor to Supa John?...lets hope so!, keep it up lads!

Another class performance, full of the mixture of flair and grit Big Sam seems to have brought to the club, and what a goal by Ricco! - definite to be a contender for goal of the season, in fact this must be one of the best games ever from our very own Reggae Master!, once again Ricketts came up trumps too, I'm wondering how long before some knobhead like Alan Nixon decides he's too good to play for us and starts the sh*tstirring ?, Paul Warhurst gave us a rare glimpse of what he could do for us week in, week out. Warhurst has been so unlucky in his time with the Whites and he certainly deserves a decent, injury free run. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

Bolton : Jaaskelainen, O'Kane, Warhurst, Bergsson, Elliott, Frandsen, Hansen (Morini 89), Gardner, Farrelly, Nolan, Ricketts (Holdsworth 74).

Barnsley : Miller, O'Callaghan, Barker, Morgan, Chettle, Ripley, Ward (Corbo 75), Neil, Maddison (Thomas 62), Sheron, Dyer (Jones 65).

Birmingham 1 (Grainger 50)

Bolton 1 (Ricketts 66)

Attendance:20,043

A Fair result I reckon, despite the moaning coming from St Andrews about the result and Frandsen getting away with poleaxing O' Connor , Ricketts goal was proper jammy coming from a total cock up by their keeper Bennett, but the penalty given for that cheating bastard Lazaridis's dive shouldnt have been awarded in the first place. These are the kind of results that will keep us up and in contention for promotion. Ricardo looks to be back to his best - every silver lining has a cloud though, as his form means hes been called up into the Jamaica squad for the forthcoming CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers, lets hope he returns unscathed.

Birmingham : Bennett, Gill, Purse, Johnson, Grainger, Eaden, O' Connor (Holdsworth 6), Hughes, Lazaridis, Adebola (Marcelo 86), Burchill (Horsfield 80).

Bolton : Jaaskelainen, O' Kane, Bergsson, Fish (Warhurst 56), Elliot, Farrelly, Frandsen, Nolan, Gardner, Hansen (Rankin 51), Ricketts.
